Chevrolet Spark EV: This cute, compact, four-passenger EV is easy to drive and has a fun personality. It runs off a 105-kilowatt electric motor and an 18.4kWh Li-ion battery that gives it an estimated range of 82 miles.

BMW i3: This is one of the best EVs to buy. It’s a subcompact, stylish, and sporty EV with a 42kWh battery that goes 153 miles on a full charge. There’s also an optional 0.6L two-cylinder gas generator range extender available as an option that pushes its range to 200 miles.

Chevrolet Bolt EV: This sleek EV offers a lot of space, features, and driving range. It has a 200hp electric motor and a 60kWh battery that allows it a range of 238 miles. It also has generous cargo space so you can take real road trips in this EV.

Nissan Leaf: This quiet and comfy EV uses a 110-kilowatt engine with a 40kWh Li-ion battery that’s good for 147hp, 236lb-ft of torque and 150 miles. More power options are available.
