Don’t Miss These Incredible Trucks
Today we’re looking at the best full-size and compact trucks that you can buy based on their qualities and value. These trucks should provide every comfort and performance but have a little bit or something unique that helps them stand out from the very competitive truck crowd. These are the ones we think you should check out.
Ram 1500: This is one of the best full-size trucks you can buy. It will cost less than most others in the near and the long term. Its estimated long-term fuel cost is well below average thanks to its mild-hybrid system. Its air suspension and opulent cabins make it luxurious while still keeping it ready for hard work.
Nissan Frontier: This is one of the most expensive full-size trucks you can buy. It only has one powertrain – a 5.6L V8, but its tow rating is lower than expected. Its interiors are also less spacious and not as nice as expected. But where it stands out is with its excellent payload rating and a long list of standard safety features.
GMC Canyon: This compact truck costs more than its Chevy twin at every trim level. But its total long-term ownership costs are expected to be lower. Also, its interior materials are nicer, and there’s also the Denali trim, which takes luxury to a whole new level. Its reliability rating isn’t the best, however.
Toyota Tacoma: This affordable compact truck has below-average estimated long-term repair and insurance expenses. The Toyota Safety Sense suite comes as standard with many driver assists. The cabin build quality is very good, and the infotainment system is easy to use. It’s mainly aimed at people who do most of their driving off-road and is among the best there.
Honda Ridgeline: While this is one of the most expensive compact trucks, it’s also the best. Even the base version comes well equipped and has a V6 engine as standard. It’s an excellent daily driver thanks to high comfort levels, an upscale cabin and numerous safety features, and excellent reliability ratings.
Jeep Gladiator: It’s very expensive and only mentioned here because it’s excellent off the road. Unique features include removable doors and roof panels.
